Project 93------a beaded shawl------------------------------

Any piece of nice material can become a shawl!  I got this piece of apricot soft material from a friend, and although it is not a colour I usually wear, I saw it as a shawl!

I gave it a little hem all around with invisible thread, then I worked a plain beaded finishing all around it.  I used a double thread of sewing thread, stringed 5 seed beads at a time, given it a small double stitch and repeated it all around.  It took me some time, but it is pretty, and I am sure I am going to use it this summer on cooler evenings.....
